Dear RTS clients, families, caregivers, and community partners.
We are writing to let you know that we are open and ready to assist you with new move ins as new move in opportunities open up.
We have been working to create a safe work environment, with strict Covid-19 protocols set by Health Canada in place to keep our seniors safe, our team and our partners safe as well.
We are dedicated to providing quality high standards, with extra focus and precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
When you are ready to open we will be there to assist your residents with their move requirements.
Below is an update on our new protocol of precautions and preventative measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We continue to use extreme caution in all our interactions with our clients and their family members.
PREVENTION remains our best strategy as we to follow the advice of our local Public Health Units and Health Canada. Effective immediately, ACTIVE SCREENING will take place prior to all our interactions with clients, their family members, and other members of the community.
What is our Screening Process?
All employees will be screened prior to interacting with our clients.
All clients will be screened by phone prior to any meetings with RTS staff and prior to all scheduled Moving Days where our staff are to be interacting with our clients and their family members.
Our Screening Staff will ask everyone about potential symptoms of COVID-19, specifically, if they have:
Anyone who fails any part of the screening process will be asked to reschedule the meeting / move / work day as required, and to contact local tele-health, Public Health Unit, and Physician.
We are receiving regular updates from provincial and federal public health authorities ensuring we have the most current information possible. Your safety and the safety of our staff are of the utmost importance to Residential Transitions for Seniors.
